Über acht Kilometer erstrecken sich bei Lahinch
die spektakulärsten Klippen an der Westküste Irlands.
Hier fällt das Land bis zu 230 Meter steil ab ins Meer, ein idealer
Nistplatz für unzählige Seevögel.
Beim 1835 erbauten O'Briens Tower sind die Klippen besonders gut
zugänglich.
Bei gutem Wetter kann man von den Klippen aus im Nordwesten die Aran Islands

The most spectacular cliffs on the Irish west coast
stretch for more than 8 kilometres starting at Lahinch.
The earth ends abruptly and falls vertically up to 230 meters into the sea,
offering ideal nest sites for millions of sea birds.
O'Brians Tower - built 1835 - offers a very good observation point for the
cliffs.
When the weather is clement, it is possible to see the Aran Islands in the
